Minimum Requirements

For Studying in Germany

The requirements for study at a German university differ from institution to institution and you will receive a detailed account of them in the Booklet you will receive at your Consultation. However, the general minimum requirements are as follows:

For Bachelors:

3 O’level subjects (minimum grade - C) and 2 A’level subjects

2 O’level subject (minimum grade - C) and 3 A’level subject

*Overall a minimum of five independent subjects are required including English Language preferably AS Level English

Specifications according to fields:

Science

3 maths/science related subjects for O’level

2 maths/science related subjects for A’level

Social Sciences and Law

1 A’level subject in line with the degree

Medicine, Pharmacy and Psychology (very good grades required)

4 maths/science related subjects for O’level

3 maths/science related subjects for A’level

Engineering and Technical fields

3 maths/science related subjects for A’level

Economics and Business Science

Maths

Please note: You cannot apply to University OR Foundation College in Germany without A’levels. You can only attend Foundation College if you fulfill the above criteria but have a high school qualification that is not considered equivalent to the German Abitur e.g. ZIMSEC.

For Masters:

Minimum grade of an Upper Second Class or 2.1 in your Bachelor’s

Please note: If your grade is lower, then we can only assist you in applying for a second Bachelor’s degree. "

To intiate your application process, there are a number of important details that is required. The Enquiry from enables us to prepare for the consultation process. If you will use the digital form under the application page, we advise that you use a Laptop or Desktop so that you make sure you have filled the manditory fields.

The Application process is divided into steps. We will assist all applicants with each step but there are Costs that have to be covered and these are highlighted in the PDF as are subject to change.
